Complete fitting kit: side mounts included. This frame comes with its own side mounts, so any side mount bucket seat bolts straight to it. You only need the seat and the frame, with no separate side mounts to buy.
The fifth-generation Honda Civic, the EG, ran from 1992 to 1996, and it forms the foundation of a generation of Japanese hot hatch culture in the UK. The EG chassis codes covered by this frame are EG3, EG4, EG5, EG6, EG8, EG9, EH9, EJ1 and EJ2. The EG6 SiR-II with its B16A VTEC was the top UK model; the Japanese-market EG9 Type R was rare here but did come over as an import. The same frame also fits the Integra DC2, which shared the EG mounting pattern.
These are the M2 Motorsport direct fit sub-frames for the Honda Civic EG and DC2, part number M2-20268-S000. The frame replaces the standard runners and bolts to the OEM floor mounting points without drilling. Steel, powder-coated black, 290mm side mount holes. Choose driver or passenger side, and side mount or base mount fixing, at the top of the page.
EG Civics in club motorsport almost always carry a cage, and the low seating position that this frame gives makes the cage easier to live with in terms of headroom. Most owners running a harness on an EG find that the standard seat height places the shoulder harness at an awkward angle, and the M2 frame corrects that.
If you have a DC2 Integra Type R and want a dedicated listing, the M2 Honda Integra DC2 Direct Fit Sub-frames lists the same part under the Integra name. The physical frame is identical.
Seats with 290mm side mount holes fit directly: Recaro, OMP, Sparco, Bride, Cobra, Corbeau, Takata, MOMO, D2 and others.
