The Planted Technology C63 AMG Coupe Seat Bracket at £185.50 is part of the SB089 family, shared with the CLK and the C-Class Coupe, since the C63 coupe is a C-Class coupe underneath and shares the same floor and seat mounting.

The Sabelt GT3 at £431, Mirco RS1 3D at £372, and Sparco Circuit QRT at £440 are further FIA-rated options. The Sparco Evo L QRT at £510 and OMP RT Carbon/Fibreglass at £589.97 are the premium choices for a C63 built properly for competition.

The Cobra Monaco Pro FIA at £235 is the practical starting point for a track day car. Given how readily this car oversteers, a shell that holds you properly matters more than usual. The OMP RT Carbon/Fibreglass at £589.97 gives the strongest lateral support here for a C63 built properly for competition.
Reclining sport seats
The Sparco R100 at £235 (also in vinyl) and the R500 Fabric at £274.16 or Sky at £290.83 keep more factory comfort while still improving on the standard seat.

Harnesses
Harnesses need a roll cage or harness barA 4-point, 5-point or 6-point harness with separate shoulder straps needs proper attachment points above and behind the seat. Fit a roll cage or a properly engineered harness bar before using anything above a 3-point belt.
The TRS Clubman 3-point bolt-in at £80 and 4-point clip-in at £100 both use the standard seat belt anchor points and do not need a cage. For 4-point competition use, the TRS Magnum 4-point FIA at £205 and the Takata Drift II at £229 are the step up.
For 6-point harnesses, the cage goes in first. The TRS Magnum 6-point Superlite FIA at £245, the Takata Drift III at £270, and the Schroth Profi 3×2 at £370.01 all suit a caged C63 going to competition or serious track days.

Does this fit the C63 Sedan or Estate?
Not confirmed. This bracket is specifically for the coupe. Ask us if you have a sedan or estate and want a fitting confirmed.
Does this fit the newer W205 C63?
No. This bracket is for the W204, with the naturally aspirated 6.2 litre M156 V8. The W205 has a different engine and floor, ask us for that generation.
My car has the factory performance seat, do I still need this?
Possibly not. The factory performance seat option is better than the standard item. Tell us your specification and we would rather talk you out of a change you do not need.
Can I run a 6-point harness without a roll cage?
No. A 6-point harness needs anchor points above and behind the seat for the shoulder straps. Fit a roll cage or a properly engineered harness bar first.
