The CL203 sports coupe of the early 2000s is a very different thing from the C204 of 2011 onwards, and the bracket listing does not carry a year range. The Planted Technology C-Class Coupe Seat Bracket at £185.50 is part of the SB089 family, shared with the CLK and the C63 AMG Coupe, since all three share the same floor and seat mounting underneath. If you specifically have the C63 AMG Coupe, the dedicated C63 AMG Coupe bracket at £185.50 from the same family is worth checking against your car.

Competition bucket seats
The Sparco Sprint FIA at £210, Cobra Monaco Pro at £235, and Mirco RTS-2 Velour at £349 are the accessible starting points. The OMP Champ-R at £318 and Sparco Grid Q at £365 sit a step up.
The Sabelt GT3 at £431, Mirco RS1 3D at £372, and Sparco Circuit QRT at £440 are further FIA-rated options. The Sparco Evo L QRT at £510 and OMP RT Carbon/Fibreglass at £589.97 are the premium choices for a C-Class built properly for competition.

The Cobra Monaco Pro FIA at £235 is the practical starting point for a track day car. If you want a lighter fibreglass shell, the OMP Champ-R at £318 is well judged for the money. For a C-Class built properly for competition, the OMP RT Carbon/Fibreglass at £589.97 gives the strongest support here.
Reclining sport seats
The Sparco R100 at £235 (also in vinyl) and the R500 Fabric at £274.16 or Sky at £290.83 keep more factory comfort while still improving on the standard seat.

Harnesses
Harnesses need a roll cage or harness barA 4-point, 5-point or 6-point harness with separate shoulder straps needs proper attachment points above and behind the seat. Fit a roll cage or a properly engineered harness bar before using anything above a 3-point belt.
The TRS Clubman 3-point bolt-in at £80 and 4-point clip-in at £100 both use the standard seat belt anchor points and do not need a cage. For 4-point competition use, the TRS Magnum 4-point FIA at £205 and the Takata Drift II at £229 are the step up.
For 6-point harnesses, the cage goes in first. The TRS Magnum 6-point Superlite FIA at £245, the Takata Drift III at £270, and the Schroth Profi 3×2 at £370.01 all suit a caged C-Class going to competition or serious track days.

No. A 6-point harness needs anchor points above and behind the seat for the shoulder straps. Fit a roll cage or a properly engineered harness bar first.
Should I choose a competition bucket or a reclining seat?
A competition bucket holds you better through a corner but is harder to live with day to day. A reclining seat keeps more factory comfort while still improving on the standard seat.
