Endurance Motorsport
This is our own range and it exists because of the same phone call, over and over. Somebody has bought a seat and a frame from two different brands and the holes do not line up. Base mounted seats come on three bolt patterns, 291mm, 345mm and 405mm, and almost nobody tells you which one you are looking at. Endurance is the range that bridges them, starting at £32.50.
If a seat and a frame will not bolt together, it is almost always because they are on different bolt patterns. Our standard adaption bars are a 440mm bar carrying all three sets of holes, 291mm, 345mm and 405mm, on the same part. £32.50, and it solves most of them.
Built out of the questions we get asked
Endurance Motorsport is our own label and it is not here to compete with Sparco on glamour. Every part in it started as a problem somebody rang up with, and most of them are about two brands not fitting each other.
The bolt pattern is the root of it. A base mounted seat bolts down on one of three widths. Cobra and Corbeau use 291mm. Sparco, OMP, Auto Style and Sabelt use 345mm. Recaro use 405mm. Buy a Corbeau seat and a Sparco subframe and nothing lines up, and there is nothing wrong with either part.
So the range covers the joins. Adaption bars with all three patterns on one bar. A dedicated Corbeau to Sparco bar. Adapters that put base mount seats onto M2, Driftworks and Buddy Club rails. A Recaro pattern runner made because the genuine ones have been hard to get. M10 side mounts because the Corbeau Revenge does not use M8 like everything else.
The listings are also blunt about what does not fit, which is deliberate. Not with the Cobra Monaco Pro, not with the Sparco Sprint L, and the MX-5 mounts want a steel framed seat rather than a fibreglass shell.
Cobra and Corbeau base mounted seats.
Sparco, OMP, Auto Style and Sabelt. The commonest pattern, and what most universal runners are built around.
Recaro. The reason a Recaro will not sit on a generic runner, and why we make a Recaro pattern one.
The length of our standard adaption bar, which carries all three sets of holes on the same part.
Six groups, all of them unglamorous
Nothing here is the interesting bit of the build. All of it is the bit that stops the interesting bit going in.
01Adaption bars
From £32.50. The standard bar is 440mm with 291mm, 345mm and 405mm bolt points on it, so it takes Recaro, Sparco and Cobra. Plus dedicated Corbeau to Sparco bars at £39.50.
02Runners
The sliding runner kit at £34 fits Corbeau, Sparco and OMP and anything on 345mm. The Recaro pattern kit at £79.20 is 405mm with 220mm of travel and double locking.
03Side mounts
Multi point M8 at £39 with a lot of holes for adjustment, fitting OMP, Cobra, Sparco and Sabelt. Steel M8 at £29. M10 at £32.50 for the Corbeau Revenge.
04Seat belt brackets
£39.99, and the product most people do not know exists. Fits between the slider and the seat base so a bucket seat keeps the factory belt and clip. No harness needed.
05Car specific subframes
For the cars other brands ignore. Classic Mini at £87.50, and Land Rover Defender, 90 and Series 3 at £74.58 to £82.50, each in a Recaro or a Sparco version.
06Seats and extras
Six own brand buckets from £175 to £296.10, titanium bolt packs at £8 and £19.98, and an office chair adaptor plate at £35.99 for a seat that has come out of a car.
Four questions, and the first one solves most of them
Work these in order and the parts list falls out at the end.
What bolt pattern is your seat on?
This is the question and almost nobody knows to ask it. Base mounted seats come on three widths. 291mm is Cobra and Corbeau. 345mm is Sparco, OMP, Auto Style and Sabelt. 405mm is Recaro. Measure across the mounting holes on the underside if you are not sure. If your seat and your frame are on the same number, you need nothing from this page. If they are not, the standard adaption bars at £32.50 carry all three sets of holes on one 440mm bar and will very likely sort it.
Side mount or base mount?
A base mounted seat bolts down through the bottom and takes runners and adaption bars. A side mounted seat bolts through the sides and takes side mount brackets. Almost every side mount seat uses M8 bolts and our multi point M8 brackets at £39 have a lot of holes so you can set the height and angle. The exception is the newer Corbeau Revenge on M10, which has its own set at £32.50.
Do you actually want a harness?
A lot of people fit a bucket seat to a road car and then discover the factory belt no longer reaches or clips properly. The seat belt brackets at £39.99 fit between the slider and the seat base and let you keep the original belt and clip, which is usually what you wanted. They need a sliding runner with them, they work with Corbeau, Cobra, Sparco and OMP base mounted seats, and they do not fit the Sparco Sprint L.
Read the exceptions before you order
We list what does not fit as clearly as what does, because that is the bit that costs a return. The multi point M8 brackets are not recommended with the Cobra Monaco Pro, because the uprights may clash with the side grommets. The MX-5 Mk1 adjustable side mounts are designed for steel framed seats with a flat base, so they do not suit a fibreglass shell. If your combination is not spelled out anywhere, ring us rather than guessing.
The bolt pattern is the thing. Somebody buys a lovely Corbeau recliner and a Sparco subframe off two different pages, and then rings up cross because nothing lines up. Nothing is wrong with either part. Corbeau is two hundred and ninety one millimetres and Sparco is three hundred and forty five, and there is a thirty two pound bar that joins them. That is the entire Endurance range in one sentence, and it is why we make it ourselves rather than sending people away.
Cameron, GSM PerformanceThe four we sell most of
Over a thousand of these four out of the door between them. The sliding runner kit at £34 on 310 sales, the seat belt brackets at £39.99 on 282, the multi point M8 side mounts at £39 on 247 and the MX-5 Mk1 adjustable mounts at £44.50 on 223.

The parts that bridge two brands
The standard bars at £32.50 carry 291mm, 345mm and 405mm on one 440mm bar. The Corbeau to Sparco set at £39.50 is the dedicated version of the commonest mismatch. The last two put base mount seats onto M2, Driftworks and Buddy Club rails.

Including the Recaro pattern
The Recaro compatible runner kit at £79.20 is 405mm, double locking, with 220mm of travel, and we make it because the genuine ones have been hard to get. Then a Sparco compatible track day runner, a weld in rail kit at £90 and the M8 bolt pack at £3.45.
M8 for most things, M10 for a Corbeau Revenge
The M10 set at £32.50 exists because the newer Corbeau Revenge does not use M8 like almost everything else. Steel M8 at £29, and the last two are the two pair versions, which is what you want if both seats are going in.

Classic Mini and Land Rover
The cars the big brands do not bother with. Classic Mini subframes at £87.50, then Land Rover Defender and 90, each made in a Recaro version and a Sparco version because the two seats mount differently. Series 3 is covered as well.

Track day buckets from £175
The Clubman at £175 is the cheapest bucket seat we sell under any brand. The Club Sport at £209.79 is the generously sized one with a wide base. The Style and the Circuit sit above them. Road and track rather than FIA, and priced accordingly.

Titanium bolt and nut packs at £19.98 and £8, which is a real weight saving on a seat with sixteen fixings in it. Then the office side: an adaptor plate at £35.99 if you have a base already, or the base and bars together at £104.16.

The top row is worth writing down. Almost every fitting problem we get asked about is two parts from two different columns. Once you know which column your seat is in and which column your frame is in, the answer is either nothing at all or a £32.50 bar.

These are the figures we quote down the phone most often.
Common questions about Endurance Motorsport fittings
What is Endurance Motorsport?▾
Our own fitting range, built to solve the problems that come up every week on the phone. Runners, side mounts, adaption bars, seat belt brackets, car specific subframes and a small range of bucket seats. It is the least glamorous part of the catalogue and it is the part that gets other people’s seats into other people’s cars.
What are the three bolt patterns?▾
Base mounted seats come on one of three widths and it is the single most useful thing to know in this whole trade. 291mm is Cobra and Corbeau. 345mm is Sparco, OMP, Auto Style and Sabelt. 405mm is Recaro. If your seat and your frame are on different numbers, they will not bolt together, and that is what the adaption bars are for.
Which adaption bar do I need?▾
The standard Endurance Adaption Bars at £32.50 are the general answer. They are a 440mm bar carrying 291mm, 345mm and 405mm bolt points all on the same part, so they fit Recaro, Sparco and Cobra seats. If you specifically have a Corbeau recliner on 291mm going onto a Sparco frame on 345mm, the dedicated Corbeau to Sparco bars at £39.50 are the tidier answer and need no drilling.
Can I keep my normal seat belt with a bucket seat?▾
Yes, and this is the product most people do not know exists. The Endurance seat belt brackets at £39.99 fit between the seat slider and the base of the seat and let you keep the factory seat belt clip, so no harness is needed. They work with Corbeau, Cobra, Sparco and OMP base mounted seats. Two things to know: you have to use a sliding runner with them, and they do not fit the Sparco Sprint L because of its shape.
My Recaro runners are unavailable, what now?▾
The Endurance Recaro compatible runner kit at £79.20 exists for exactly that. It is built to the Recaro 405mm double locking pattern with 220mm of travel and fits Recaro base mounted bucket and reclining seats directly. We made it because the genuine ones have been hard to get.
M8 or M10 side mounts?▾
Almost every side mount seat uses M8, and our multi point M8 brackets at £39 have a lot of holes in them for exactly that reason. The exception worth knowing is Corbeau, whose newer Revenge uses M10, and there is a dedicated M10 set at £32.50 for it. Do not force an M8 into an M10 seat or the other way round.
Do you do car specific subframes?▾
A few, for cars other brands ignore. Classic Mini at £87.50, and Land Rover Defender, 90 and Series 3 at £74.58 to £82.50, each made for either a Recaro or a Sparco seat. If you are putting a proper seat in an old Land Rover, this is very likely the only off the shelf answer there is.
Can I turn a bucket seat into an office chair?▾
Yes. The office chair adaptor plate is £35.99 if you already have a base, or £104.16 for the base and adaption bars together. There is also a bar stool version at £124.99. It is a good use for a seat that has come out of a car, and it sells better than you would think.
Tell us the seat and the frame and we will do the rest
This is the part of an order we would genuinely rather sort out on the phone than let you work out from a page. Tell us which seat you have bought and what you are trying to bolt it to, and we will list the parts you need and the ones you do not. Ring and ask for Cameron.
