The Endurance Motorsport Land Rover Defender Sparco Seat Subframes (part B301243) are fabricated steel subframes for fitting Sparco bucket seats to a Land Rover Defender floor. The Defender’s original floor mounting points are not set up for aftermarket bucket seat geometry, and these subframes bridge that gap: they bolt to the factory seat bolt positions and present a Sparco-pattern top face for the seat to mount to.
The Defender is one of the few vehicles where aftermarket seat installation is both common enough to justify purpose-made subframes and challenging enough that improvised solutions cause problems. The cab floor geometry varies between 90, 110, and Defender 90-based utility models, and the seat has to clear the transmission tunnel and sill in a cabin that was never wide. These subframes are designed for the Defender specifically; they are not a generic part cut to fit any Land Rover.
