SW Motorsport Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Direct Fit Subframe

The SW Motorsport Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Direct Fit Subframe is a steel seat base for the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. It bolts straight to the car’s factory seat mounting holes, so the floor needs no drilling or fabrication. SW make one part that suits either side, and it is priced per side, so a pair of seats needs two. The side you pick here does not change the part you get. SW list it for the Z06 without naming a generation, so tell us which car you have and we will check it before you order.

This is the layer between the floor and your seat. Side mounts or a slider kit bolt to it and the seat goes on those, and SW pre-drill it for most popular slider kits. They say it takes wide and tall bucket seats as well as smaller ones. It is 4mm mild steel with a textured black powder coat.

You get one base per side. Part number SW-SM-0137. Side mounts, sliders, mounting bolts and harness eye bolts are not included, so add those to the order if you do not already have them.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on SW frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Is this for the driver or passenger side?
This one part suits either side, so the side you pick does not change the part. The options are worded for right-hand-drive cars, so on a left-hand-drive car just pick either one. Ask us if you are unsure.

Seat mounts are produced in batches, cages are made to order

SW Motorsports seat mounts are produced in batches and we take deliveries weekly, so those are generally available for quick dispatch.

Their roll cages are a different matter. Each one is made to order here in the UK, and production currently takes 6 to 8 weeks from the day you order.

Made to order means our special order and roll cage cancellation terms apply once production starts. Tell us the car and the class you run in, and we will confirm the specification and the current lead time first.
