The SW Motorsports Ford Fiesta Mk8 Direct Fit Subframe, part SWS-Ford-Fiesta-Mk8, fits the seventh-generation Fiesta from 2017 to 2023 and accepts a Sparco-pattern seat at 345mm centre-to-centre. Buy one for a single seat position, or take the two-subframe bundle (SWS-Ford-Fiesta-Mk8-X2) if you are fitting both seats at the same time.
The Mk8 Fiesta ran from 2017 until Ford ended production in 2023. The ST version used a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbocharged engine making 200bhp; the Track Pack added a Quaife LSD, stiffer suspension and uprated brakes. The Mk8 ST became the most common car in Fiesta Cup and similar one-make competition toward the end of the model’s life. After production ended, prices held well and the Mk8 ST remains in active use across club motorsport.
The Mk8 floor layout is distinct from the Mk7 (2008–2017). If your car is a 2008 to 2017 model, use the Mk7 subframe (SWS-Ford-Fiesta-Mk7). The Mk6 (2002–2008) also has its own part in the range. All three are different and are not interchangeable.
The subframe bolts to the factory floor mounts, drops the seating position compared to the standard seat and runners, and presents a 345mm Sparco-compatible bolt pattern on the top plate. No drilling required on a standard floor.
