Nissan Skyline R32 bucket seat guide
1989 to 1998
Every R32 in the UK is an import, which means the chassis number matters more than the registration. R32s came in a great many specifications, from the GTS-t through to the GT-R, and the interiors differ between them. Send us your chassis number and we will confirm fitment before you order.

Roll cage for the R32Which roll cage for a Nissan Skyline R32
The SW Motorsports Bolt In Half Roll Cage at £655.83 is the accessible option for harness mounting and basic roll protection. For a Skyline built properly for competition, the Safety Devices Weld-In Roll Cage at £1381 gives a more complete build.
Harnesses
Harnesses need a roll cage or harness barA 4-point, 5-point or 6-point harness with separate shoulder straps needs proper attachment points above and behind the seat. Fit a roll cage or a properly engineered harness bar before using anything above a 3-point belt.
The TRS Clubman 3-point bolt-in at £80 and 4-point clip-in at £100 both use the standard seat belt anchor points and do not need a cage. For 4-point competition use, the TRS Magnum 4-point FIA at £205 and the Takata Drift II at £229 are the step up.
For 6-point harnesses, the cage goes in first. The TRS Magnum 6-point Superlite FIA at £245, the Takata Drift III at £270, and the Schroth Profi 3×2 at £370.01 all suit a caged R32 going to competition or serious track days.

Common questions
Why do you need my chassis number rather than the registration?
Every R32 in the UK is an import, and R32s came in a great many specifications with different interiors. The chassis number confirms the right fitment in a way the registration alone cannot.
Can I get the passenger side bracket?
Ask us. The listed bracket covers the driver side only, and there is also a separate R33-specific version, so send us your chassis number and we will confirm what you need.
Which roll cage should I choose?
The SW Motorsports Bolt In Half Roll Cage at £655.83 is the accessible option. The Safety Devices Weld-In at £1381 is the step up for a Skyline built properly for competition.
Can I run a 6-point harness without a roll cage?
No. A 6-point harness needs anchor points above and behind the seat for the shoulder straps. Fit a roll cage or a properly engineered harness bar first.
