The lever-latch buckle is the defining feature of the Nascar range over the FIA ranges. It releases by pulling a lever on the front of the buckle rather than rotating a central disc. Some drivers prefer the lever-latch for its audible and tactile confirmation of release. The Nascar range covers drivers competing in events where FIA approval is not required: autocross, drifting, hillclimb events without a specific harness standard, American oval series, off-road competition, and track days where no class standard is mandated.
At £138, the Superlite is £2 cheaper than the standard six-point 75mm Nascar (22G600, £140) despite having aluminium shoulder adjusters rather than steel. This is a batch pricing difference, not a quality distinction. There is no reason to choose the steel adjuster standard version at a higher price unless a specific requirement exists for steel adjusters. For most drivers, the Superlite is the more sensible choice at this price point.
