Aluminium adjusters on all straps, shoulder and lap. The Ultralite is the lightest configuration in the Nascar 4-point 50mm group. The Standard (22G450, £125) runs steel throughout; the Superlite (22G455, £150) replaces the shoulder adjusters with aluminium; the Ultralite goes further and replaces both. The weight saving over a steel harness is modest, but aluminium adjusters turn more smoothly than steel under pressure and with gloves on, which makes mid-session adjustment more straightforward.
Four-point layout: two shoulder straps and two lap straps. No sub strap, which makes the installation simpler than a five-point and reduces the number of anchor points needed, but provides less anti-submarining protection. HANS Friendly: compatible with or without a head restraint device. 50mm (2-inch) webbing. Lever-latch buckle. Road and track approved, not FIA. Nine colour choices: black, red, blue, green, orange, silver, yellow, Miami blue, and pink.
At £180, the Ultralite is £55 more than the Standard. If ease of adjustment and minimum weight are priorities, the Ultralite is the four-point Nascar to choose. If the steel adjuster on the Standard is acceptable, the lower price is the straightforward argument.
