Corbeau Classic in Tartan Edition, 530. A fibreglass road and track bucket, fixed back, base mount, no head support, trimmed in wool tartan and vinyl.
The name says it
The Classic is a period low-back shell, and it is meant for the cars it looks like it belongs in: classic Minis, Escorts, MGs, anything from the era when a low-back bucket was what a competition car had. It is the wrong seat for a modern car however light it is, and the light weight is precisely why people get tempted.
530 against 290 plain
The plain Classic is 290. The 240 on top is genuine wool tartan, cut and trimmed in house to whichever of the eight designs you choose. Nothing about the shell changes.
The four classic-era tartans
GT4 Retro at 490, this Classic at 530, Alpine at 555 and GT8 High-back at 575. The Classic and GT4 Retro are the low-back pair; the Alpine and GT8 give you more support up the spine. Which is right is mostly a question of what the car had originally and how much of you needs holding.
Fitting and approval
Base mount. Road and Track, without FIA homologation. Seat only, so frames and mounts come separately.
Tell us the car and the year and we will confirm the fit.
