This is a Lotus seat
The LE range is designed around Lotus tubs, where the seat has to work with a narrow cockpit and a high sill rather than a conventional saloon floor. If you are not fitting a Lotus, look at the Sprint, RXC or Pro Series instead.
Corbeau list four LE shells in tartan: the LE-Standard at 785, the LE-Pro at 795, the LE-Driver at 815 and this LE-X at 820. The plain LE-X is 510, so the tartan is where the difference goes.
System 1, 3 and 5 are shell materials
Corbeau grade the LE shells by construction: System 1 is fibreglass, System 3 is Kevlar and System 5 is carbon. The plain LE-Pro shows what that costs, 550, 630 and 710 respectively. This tartan seat is System 1, the fibreglass shell, and it is base mount.

Approval
The LE range is sold as a road and track seat. It does not carry an FIA homologation, so if you need one for a competition class, tell us what you are entering and we will point you at a shell that does.
