Corbeau Pro Series System 1 XL in Tartan Edition trim, 880. FIA 8855-1999 fibreglass bucket, fixed back, base mount, in wool tartan and velour.

No head support on this shell

That is the main thing separating the Pro Series from the Revenge and Revolution tartans. The Pro Series has no lateral head support, which some drivers prefer for visibility and head movement, and which some classes are perfectly happy with.

If you want head support in tartan, the Revenge XL and Revolution XL are both 960. This is 880, so the 80 is the shell rather than the trim.

Standard or XL

The standard width Pro Series System 1 Tartan is 810. This XL is 880 and is cut wider across the hips and ribs.

Genuine wool, trimmed to order

Eight tartans: Blair Ancient, Boyd Modern, Earl of St Andrews, MacFarlane Clan Ancient, MacKenzie Dress Modern, MacMillan Old Modern, Stewart Dress Modern and Weir Ancient. Each seat is cut and trimmed in house in the cloth you choose, which is why it is not an off the shelf item.

Approval and mounting

FIA 8855-1999, with validity taken from the seat’s own label. System 1 is base mount, so the seat sits on its base rather than between side mounts.

FIA bucket seats are built to order, typically 3 to 7 days from the day you order. Kevlar and carbon shells take longer, so ask us if you are working to a date.

Reclining sport seats are also made to order in your chosen trim, and run to a similar timescale.
