A classic shell for a classic car
The Alpine is one of Corbeau’s period shapes and it belongs in a car of that era: a classic Mini, an MG, an Escort, a Sixties or Seventies saloon. In tartan it looks the part. It is not a seat for a modern hot hatch or a track build, and we would rather say that than sell you one for the wrong car.
If you are fitting a classic Mini, there is a version of the Alpine sold with a Mini fitting kit at 475, in the plain trim.
555 against 390 plain
The plain Alpine is 390. The tartan work adds 165, which is wool cloth cut and trimmed in house to your choice of eight designs.
Where it sits against the other classic tartans
The GT4 Retro is 490, the Classic is 530, this Alpine is 555 and the GT8 High-back is 575. All four are road and track shells in the same tartan. The GT8 is the one with a taller back if you want more shoulder support.
The practical bits
Base mount, so it sits on its base rather than between side mounts. Road and Track approval, no FIA homologation. Seat only, with frames and mounts separate.
