Direct fit subframes for the BMW Mini F56, bolting to the car’s original seat mounting points without drilling. Part number COBBNP7E327-F56.
The F56 is the third-generation MINI hatch, produced from 2014 onwards across Cooper, Cooper S, and John Cooper Works variants. These steel subframes use the Cobra 291mm x 330mm bolt pattern, the standard fitting pattern across the majority of the Cobra seat range. A sliding runner is included in the price, restoring fore and aft adjustment that a fixed bucket seat removes.
One point worth knowing before the conversion: the F56’s original seats carry airbag and occupancy sensor wiring. Disconnecting these without proper procedure will trigger warning lights and can affect airbag system readiness. This is not a reason to avoid the swap, but it is the step that needs attention before the subframes go in. A main dealer or specialist familiar with MINI electrics can disconnect and code out the sensor correctly.
The Cobra direct fit subframes are sold for a single side, with the option to order a pair. The included sliding runner is a cost saving against most competing seat brands, which charge for the runner as a separate part.
