The Sabelt 4 Point Caterham Harness is a 4-point competition harness approved to FIA 8854-1998. Shoulder and lap webbing are 2 inch. Aircraft-type buckle. Not HANS compatible. Available in black, blue and red.
Built for Caterham chassis mounting geometry. Caterham cars have specific rear chassis mounting points that differ from a standard saloon; a harness with Caterham application designation is configured for those anchor positions and the cockpit dimensions of the Seven range.
FIA 8854-1998 is the 4-point standard. The Caterham-specific classes in UK motorsport generally accept a 4-point harness as a minimum. Check your class or event regulations before ordering, as some championships now require a 6-point under FIA 8853-2016.
Not HANS compatible. Caterham racing typically does not mandate HANS device use, but check your specific series rules if in doubt.
The 2-inch webbing keeps weight low, which matters in a lightweight car. At £95 this is the entry-level Caterham harness in the Sabelt range.
For a heavier-webbing alternative, the Steel Caterham/Kit Car 4 Point bolt-in (118S433SD4F) uses 3-inch shoulder and 3-inch lap webbing with bolt-in installation at £182. If your class requires a 6-point, the Steel Race/Rally 3×3 6 Point (CFCI1335S633S) is the FIA 8853-2016 alternative, though not Caterham-specific in its geometry.
