The Willans Club 4×4 Saloon (part number CB422) is a 4-point FIA 8854-1998 harness with 2-inch (50mm) shoulder and lap straps. Four straps, aircraft buckle, steel adjusters: the standard configuration for FIA club competition. The 4-point layout adds a sub strap that routes under the seat, preventing the pelvis from sliding forward under heavy braking compared to a 3-point harness.

The 2-inch strap width meets FIA 8854-1998 requirements. At £179 it sits just above the 3-point CB322 (£178.50) and below the 3-inch shoulder versions (CB432 at £210). If your regulations require a 4-point but do not specify a 3-inch minimum, the CB422 keeps the cost down. A number of UK sprint and hillclimb championships accept 2-inch straps in competition.

Clip-in or wrap-around installation. Nine colour choices including orange and British Racing Green. For 3-inch shoulder straps on the same 4-point layout, the CB432 or CB433 are the options at £210.

Does it work with a HANS device?
No. Only 6-point FIA harnesses work with a HANS device: not 4-point belts and not road harnesses. If you run or plan a HANS, look at the 6-point FIA belts in the range.

What does it mount to?
A harness needs proper anchor points: a harness bar, cage, or the car’s designed mounting points, plus a seat with the right slots. Tell us the car and seat and we will confirm the mounting plan before you order.
