Planted are clear that on US specification cars you will not be able to retain the centre retractable seat belt mechanism. That is a restraint component, not trim, so if your car has that arrangement you need a plan for it before you order.

UK Corrados were specified differently. Send us the registration and we will tell you what your car actually has and whether this affects you at all.

The car

A Corrado is Mk2 Golf underneath with a far better body on top, and it had a pop up rear spoiler that raised itself at speed, which was a genuine novelty in 1988. The VR6 and the supercharged G60 are the versions people build.

Values have climbed and good ones are getting scarce, so keeping the installation reversible matters more than it used to.
