The five-point is the most practical layout for most Nascar range applications. The sub strap over the four-point provides meaningfully better lap belt retention in a frontal impact. The absence of a sixth-point rear anchor that a six-point harness requires keeps the installation simpler on some car types where the rear anchor geometry is difficult. For a driver not competing under a regulation that specifies six-point, the five-point is often the right choice between the two.
HANS Friendly: the harness is approved for use with or without a HANS device. The Superlite version of the same five-point (22G550) is listed as Not HANS Compatible; if you use a HANS device, choose this standard version rather than the Superlite. This is the key difference between the two five-point 75mm Nascar listings. The standard version is £1 more expensive than the Superlite but is the only five-point 75mm Nascar that is HANS Friendly.
