The Nissan Primera ran across three generations from 1990 to 2007. The first two, the P10 (1990-1995) and P11 (1995-2002), were particularly popular in the UK as family saloons and hatchbacks with a sporting character above their segment. The P11 in particular handled well for a family car and attracted a younger demographic than most fleet competitors of the same era.
Part number 862416 is the Recaro direct-fit sub-frame for the Nissan Primera. It attaches to the factory floor mounting positions on either the driver or passenger side without drilling and carries integrated fore-aft runners for the Recaro seat. The Primera’s floor uses Nissan-specific fixing geometry of the early-to-mid 1990s that does not align with the VW or Peugeot platforms of the same period.
The P10 and P11 Primera were used in British Touring Car Championship specification and have a motorsport heritage that many owners are aware of. Track-day use with a properly mounted Recaro seat is a natural fit for these cars, and the direct-fit sub-frame positions the seat consistently with the factory geometry.
This sub-frame is for Recaro seats only and covers base-mountable bucket seats and reclining sport seats. Side-mounted competition shells need different mounting hardware. The price covers one frame, one seat position. Tell us your Recaro model and the Primera generation when ordering and we will confirm the complete kit.
