This Recaro sub-frame (part number 869806-1813) fits the Ferrari F430, built from 2004 to 2009. The F430 came in Coupe, Spider, and Scuderia form, all on the same mid-engined platform. At this level the factory seats are already capable, but serious track use, particularly for drivers who also run a harness rather than the standard three-point belt, often prompts an upgrade to a shell that holds more positively at higher lateral loads.

The Recaro sub-frame uses the F430’s OEM floor mounting points with no drilling or modification to the car’s structure. In a car of this value and rarity, that matters. The sub-frame retains fore-aft seat adjustment through its integrated runners. It fits Recaro base-mountable bucket seats and reclining sport seats. It is not compatible with side-mounted Recaro competition shells without additional adaption hardware.

One sub-frame per listing, one seat position. Order twice for both sides and note your Recaro seat model at checkout. For an F430 installation, contact us before ordering so we can confirm which Recaro model sits at the correct height for the car’s specific cockpit dimensions.

Additional seat belt brackets: Each seat frame can be used for a variety of applications including road car reclining seats throuh to Motorsport FIA seats. Seat belt brackets are not required in a range of application so manufacturers generally do not supply them with their frame kits. If you require seat belt brackets please contact us in advance

Which seats does it take?
Check the bolt pattern in the specification against your seat. The Compatible seats tab above lists what bolts straight on. If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Recaro frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Recaro seats are produced in batches for the UK market

We receive Recaro deliveries regularly and hold good stock of the popular models, so many go out quickly.

Demand for the bucket seats is worldwide and production runs to Recaro’s own schedule, so the less common models and trims can take considerably longer. Ask us and we will tell you where a specific seat stands.

Before you order

If you need a seat for a date, ring us first. We would rather give you an honest lead time up front than have you waiting on a seat that is between production runs.
