Which Is Right For You? Corbeau Pro Series VS Pro Series XL
We have both the Corbeau Pro Series and the Corbeau Pro Series XL bucket seats in-store on our display side by side ready for viewing and testing in 2022. These seats have the same design that has recently been updated by Corbeau this year, but with different dimensions to suit different Sized drivers. The Corbeau Pro Series is most suited for drivers with a 30-36inch waist whereas the Pro Series XL is suited for drivers with a 36-40inch waist. This seat is wider at the base and shoulders so that larger drivers can get a better fit when sitting in this seat.

We don’t recommend these seats for drivers with tall torsos as they both have short backs which may course problems with head and shoulder fitment and support for drivers over 6ft tall. Being too tall for these seats will course your shoulders to line up too high with the shoulder supports meaning you won’t be supported properly, the seat will be less effective when avoiding involuntary lateral movement.Â
With the correct fitment, these seats offer immense levels of support and comfort from their sporty design that includes large thigh and shoulder supports that will duracticly decrease lateral movement, even during the most demanding driving situations. These Corbeau bucket seats have high-quality fabric trims that have more durable materials in the most contacted areas for longer-lasting use. Â
Corbeau Pro Series VS Corbeau Pro Series XL
Below we used a driver who was 5ft 10inches tall with a waist size of 32inches, we compared both of the seats, and as you can see the Standard Corbeau Pro Series fits our driver the best out of the two seats. His shoulders are tucked behind the shoulder supports correctly in the Sparco Pro Series and not below unlike in the Pro Series XL which is too wide.Â
Getting a seat that fits you correctly is very important for getting enough support so that you don’t suffer from too much lateral movement when driving. Your seat should hug you enough so that you feel pinned to the seat and not move side to side.Â
