Seven brands confirm a fitting frame for the Golf Mk6: OMP, Sparco, Corbeau, Recaro, Planted, Cobra and M2. The seat range on this page leans on Recaro’s Pole Position and Sportster CS lines in particular, alongside FIA shells from Sabelt, OMP and Sparco.
Schroth listed a QuickFit ASM harness belt for the Mk6 in the past, as they do for the Mk4 and Mk5, but that listing is no longer available on this shell.

Seven fitting frames
OMP confirm a direct fit frame at £127.64, Sparco at £93.60 Corbeau at £245, Recaro at £441.00, Planted at £222.60, Cobra at £255.00 and M2 at £166.20. All bolt to the factory floor mounting points. Most bucket seats on this page are side mount, so a set of side mounts on top of whichever frame you choose is the usual route.

The OMP Champ-R at £381.60 is the entry point, alongside the Sabelt GT3 at £517.20. The Mirco RS2 3D at £425.40 and the Sparco Evo QRT at £570.00 sit around it. The Recaro Pole Position with ABE at £1,039.50 is road legal with type approval, the Recaro Classic Pole Position ABE at £2,179.80 sits above it, and the Recaro Pole Position Carbon with ABE at £2,816.10 is the premium option on this page.

With seven frames on offer and Corbeau and Recaro locked to their own seats, the choice comes down to which brand of seat you want. Cameron works out the fit and the best combination for a given car, so tell him your build and he will narrow the list.
Harnesses
Schroth listed a QuickFit ASM harness belt for the Mk6 in the past, as they still do for the Mk4 and Mk5, but that listing is no longer available on this shell. There is currently no harness made specifically for the Golf Mk6, so you are fitting a universal belt and working out the mounting yourself. The standard rear seat belt mounts are not rated for harness shoulder strap loads, so one of the cages below, a bolt-in harness bar, or a fabricated anchor point is needed.
The Schroth Profi 3×2 at £444.01 and the TRS Magnum 6 Point Superlite at £245 are both FIA 8853-2016. The TRS Magnum 4 Point at £246.00 is FIA 8854-1998. All three carry a stamped expiry date regardless of wear. For a road or trackday car, the Takata Drift II and III and the TRS Clubman belts cost less, though none of those four are HANS compatible.

JP Cages build three cages shared between the Mk5 and Mk6: a DIY Roll Cage Kit at £725.18, a Bolt In Dash Dodger cage at £817.80 and a Half Cage at £553.20. SW Motorsports offer a Bolt In Half Roll Cage specifically for the Mk6 at £667.00.
If competing, check the specification against your class regulations before ordering, and keep the sign-off paperwork with the logbook. Pad any tube within reach of a helmet, and tell your insurer, because a cage is a notifiable modification.
