Sparco Simulator Fixed Back Bucket Seat Range Displayed In-Store
Showroom news, November 2025
Our Sparco simulator bucket seat range is now on display in the showroom, so you can sit in the seats side by side before choosing one for your rig. The range runs from the compact Rev to the Pro ADV with its wrap around head support.
These are Sparco's QRT fibreglass competition shells in sim racing specification. You get the shape and the feel of a real race seat, without paying for FIA homologation you do not need in a rig. Here is what is on the floor and how the seats differ.
- Sparco's sim racing seats use the fibreglass QRT competition shells
- They carry a gaming and sim racing rating, not FIA homologation
- They are made for sim rigs, not for road cars or competition cars
- Seats without head support: Rev, Grid-Q, Grid-Q Sky, Pro 2000, Evo, Evo L and Evo XL
- Seats with head support: Circuit, Circuit II and Pro ADV
- All are fixed back, side mount and six point harness compatible

What is on this page
What a Sparco sim seat is
Each seat in the range is built on the fibreglass shell from Sparco’s QRT motorsport range, trimmed in velour (or Sky vinyl for the Grid-Q Sky), with side mount fixings and six point harness slots. The difference is the rating. These listings carry a gaming and sim racing rating, not FIA 8855-1999, so they are the right seat for a rig and the wrong seat for a car.
That matters, so to be clear: the sim versions are made for fixed sim rigs, not for road cars, track day cars or anything that will be scrutineered. If you want the same shape in a car, ask us for the FIA homologated version of the seat.
In a rig the bucket shape earns its place. With no real cornering force pushing you about, the seat is what tells your body where it is, and a proper shell gives you far more of that reference than an office chair or a flat seat does. It also holds your posture over a long session.
Seats without head support
Rev QRT. The compact entry point to the range, for smaller cockpits and slimmer drivers, listed for a 32 to 36 inch waist.
Grid-Q QRT and Grid-Q Sky QRT. The Grid-Q sits just above the Rev and gives better lateral support for a small step in price. The Sky version is trimmed in Sparco's vinyl, which wipes clean and suits a rig that sees a lot of use.
Pro 2000 QRT. The deepest bolstered shell in Sparco's QRT range, which in a rig gives you the strongest sense of being held in place.

Evo, Evo L and Evo XL QRT. One shape in three sizes. The Evo is the narrow shell, listed for a 28 to 32 inch waist. The Evo L is the wider shell for taller and broader drivers at 32 to 36 inches, and the Evo XL is for drivers with a 36 to 40 inch waist or over six feet tall.

Seats with head support
If you want the enclosed feel of a modern race car cockpit, the seats with integrated head support add wings that come round past your ears.
Circuit QRT and Circuit II QRT. Full size race shells with wrap around head support, sold on one listing where you choose the Circuit or Circuit II when ordering. They are listed for a 28 to 32 inch waist, noticeably narrower than Sparco’s road seats.
Pro ADV QRT. A proper competition shell with head support wings and a six point harness pattern, listed for a 32 to 36 inch waist. It is the most enclosed seat on display.

Try them side by side
Fit is hard to judge from a photo. Each of these seats has its own feel, from the snug Rev to the wide, enclosed Pro ADV, and the waist brackets vary more than people expect. With the range on the floor together, you can sit in each one and find the shell that suits your build and your rig.
Garreth’s advice is to bring your rig’s side mount spacing with you, or send it to us, so we can match the right side mounts at the same time. If you cannot get to the showroom, send us your height and waist size and we will point you to the right shell.
