The Sparco Grid Q in Sky vinyl, built for a sim rig. Part number 008009GNRSKY.

The Grid Q sits just above the Rev in Sparco’s QRT range and gives better lateral support for a small step in price. This listing is that shell in sim racing specification, so it carries a gaming and sim racing rating rather than FIA homologation. It is a rig seat, not a seat for a car that will be scrutineered.

The vinyl

Sky is Sparco’s vinyl trim, and in a rig it is the practical choice. It wipes down, it does not absorb what a fabric seat absorbs over a few hundred hours of use, and it does not mark the way a light coloured cloth does.

The trade is that it does not breathe. If your rig room gets warm, a fabric or velour seat is more comfortable over a long session.

Specification

Fibreglass with QRT technology, fixed back, black, six point harness slots, head and neck restraint friendly, no head support wings. Sparco size it for drivers under six feet with a 32 to 36 inch waist.

Mounting

Side mount, supplied as the seat with no brackets. Measure the rail spacing on your rig and we will confirm the fit before you order.

If you want head support wings for high force feedback, the Pro ADV QRT is the seat in the sim range that has them.

Will I fit in this seat?

What do I need to fit it to my car?
