Read that carefully before you order, because it is the whole point of this listing. This is the sim racing version of the Rev, and it carries a gaming and sim racing rating rather than FIA 8855-1999. It is the right seat for a rig and the wrong seat for a car that is going to be scrutineered. If you need the homologated version for competition, ask us for the FIA Rev QRT instead.
The shell
Fibreglass, fixed back, in black with velour trim. The Rev is the narrowest shell in Sparco QRT range, cut for a driver around a 32 to 36 inch waist, and Sparco list it as suiting all heights. Narrow is an advantage in a rig, because there is no sill or transmission tunnel to work around and a tighter shell holds you better under braking.
There are four and six point harness slots in the shell, so a rig belt kit fits straight in.
Mounting
Side mount only, supplied as the seat with no brackets. Most rig frames take a side mount seat on their own rails, so check the spacing on your rig before you order and we will confirm it fits. If you are mounting it in a car instead, you need side mounts and a vehicle specific sub-frame.
Velour is worth a word. It grips more than a smooth trim, which is what you want when you are not wearing a harness every session, and it marks less obviously than a light coloured fabric.

This is a side-mount seat: it hangs between side brackets, the motorsport-style stack with fine height and angle control. You will need the car-specific frame, and a sliding runner if you want fore-and-aft adjustment. The shell takes 4 point compatible and 6 point compatible. If you are planning the full seat, harness, and HANS setup, tell us the car and we will spec it end to end.
