The Willans Club 4×3 Saloon (part number CB322) is the entry point to the Willans FIA competition harness range. A 3-point layout with 2-inch (50mm) webbing on both shoulder and lap straps, FIA 8854-1998 approved. Three straps, aircraft buckle, steel adjusters. It is the straightforward FIA harness for club racing where regulations require 8854 approval but do not specify a wider strap width.

At £178.50 it is the most affordable Willans FIA harness. The 2-inch strap width meets FIA requirements for sprints, hillclimbs and many club circuit events. Regulations for saloon car racing in the UK often permit 2-inch straps where a 3-inch minimum is not specifically mandated, so always check your championship’s regulations before choosing. The step up to the CB322-club4x3 adds 3-inch shoulder straps; the CB432 moves to a 4-point layout.

Clips in or wraps around. Available in nine colours including British Racing Green, orange and yellow. For a car competing in sprint or hillclimb events where FIA homologation is required and a basic FIA harness meets the regs, the CB322 does the job without unnecessary cost.

How long does an FIA harness last?

Does it work with a HANS device?
No. Only 6-point FIA harnesses work with a HANS device: not 4-point belts and not road harnesses. If you run or plan a HANS, look at the 6-point FIA belts in the range.

What does it mount to?
A harness needs proper anchor points: a harness bar, cage, or the car’s designed mounting points, plus a seat with the right slots. Tell us the car and seat and we will confirm the mounting plan before you order.

Collection and next day
