These Sparco sub-frames (part 00499075-Golf-Mk4) mount base-mount sport seats into the Volkswagen Golf Mk4, fitting to the car’s original floor points without drilling or fabrication. The Golf Mk4 platform has a well-established track day and club motorsport following, particularly in GTI form, and a sport seat is one of the most useful upgrades once the car is set up for regular circuit use.
Steel construction, 345mm x 271mm bolt pattern. Despite the Sparco branding on the part number, these frames are compatible with base-mount seats from Sparco, OMP, and Corbeau. If you are fitting a Corbeau or OMP base-mount seat rather than a Sparco, these sub-frames will work with it.
These are handed frames, sold as singles. The driver and passenger sides are different shapes to suit the Golf Mk4’s floor geometry, so select the correct variant for your build. A right-hand drive Golf needs the RHD driver side frame on the right seat and RHD passenger side on the left.
For base-mount reclining seats only. The Sparco R100, R333, and their OMP and Corbeau equivalents use this base-mount pattern. If you are fitting a side-mount FIA competition bucket seat, that system uses dedicated side mounts alongside a different type of sub-frame.
