The Sparco QRT-R in sim racing specification. Part number 008012GNR.
The QRT-R is one of Sparco’s proper competition shells, and this listing is that shell built for a rig rather than a car. It carries a gaming and sim racing rating rather than FIA homologation, so it is not a seat to put in a car that will be scrutineered. If that is what you need, ask us for the homologated version instead.
The shell
Fibreglass with Sparco QRT technology, which they quote at around 30 per cent lighter than their standard fibreglass. Fixed back, black, trimmed in velour, with six point harness slots and no head support wings.
Velour is the right trim for a rig. It grips, so you are not sliding about when you are not belted in tightly, and it does not get slick or cold the way a smooth vinyl does over a long session.
Sparco list it for all heights across a 32 to 36 inch waist.
Mounting
Side mount, supplied as the seat with no brackets. Measure the rail spacing on your rig and we will confirm the fit before you order.
No head support wings is worth thinking about for rig use. If you run high force feedback and a tight belt, wings hold your head under braking and take some of the work off your neck. The Pro ADV QRT is the seat in the sim range that has them.
