These are the side mounts that carry the seat to a rig frame. A sim seat arrives as a shell with side fixings and nothing to bolt it to, and a general purpose car side mount is often the wrong length and the wrong height for a rig, which is why Sparco make brackets specifically for their gaming seats.

Steel rather than alloy is the sensible choice on a rig. There is no weight argument to make, and a rig seat takes constant load from someone climbing in and out plus whatever the belts are doing, so stiffness is worth more than grams.
Getting the position right
Set the seat height and angle before you fix anything else on the rig. Pedal position, wheel height and belt anchors all follow from where the seat ends up, and moving the seat afterwards means redoing all three. Sit in it, reach for the wheel, and check your heel lands where you want it before you tighten the brackets down.
Tell us which rig frame you are mounting to and which Sparco seat you have, and we will confirm these are the right brackets before you order. Rail spacing varies between rig makers more than it does between car sub-frames.
