What else you need

Recaro shells mount on Recaro side mounts, and this frame carries those mounts. Recaro’s statement is that the seat and its side mounts are homologated as a complete system. Order the mounts alongside the frame.

Fitment

The 6C is the 2014 to 2017 facelift of the Mk5 Polo. The facelift changed the lights, bumpers, steering and engines and left the floor alone, so the seat mounting points are the same as the 6R. Recaro list their frame for the 6R; we know it fits the 6C and list it under the 6C’s own name so an owner searching for their car finds it.

A frame cut for this floor, so the seat bolts come straight from the factory and the seat ends up at the right height.

Will it fit my car?
This cage is designed for the Volkswagen Polo Mk5, VW Polo 6C. Cages are shell-specific, so the generation and body style in the name matter, and sunroofs or dry-fit trim can affect fitment. Send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.

We receive Recaro deliveries regularly and hold good stock of the popular models, so many go out quickly.

Demand for the bucket seats is worldwide and production runs to Recaro’s own schedule, so the less common models and trims can take considerably longer. Ask us and we will tell you where a specific seat stands.
