The Peugeot 306 was built from 1993 to 2002 and became one of the most popular hot hatches of its generation in the Maxi and XSi forms. It was also one of the most common rally cars on British club stages throughout the late 1990s. The 4-door body (which Peugeot counted as the saloon variant, with four side doors) was available across most of the range and used the same front floor fixing positions as the 3-door.
Part number 686619-1927 is the Recaro direct-fit sub-frame for the 306 4-door where the factory seat has height adjustment. The height adjuster changes the floor bracket configuration, and this sub-frame is designed for that specific setup. A 306 without factory height adjustment needs the 680409 instead.
The 306 Maxi and Rally versions attracted a strong club motorsport following, and fitting Recaro seats is standard practice for track-day and competition builds on this car. The direct-fit sub-frame positions the seat correctly without compromise, retaining the fore-aft travel through built-in runners.
This sub-frame is for Recaro seats only. It fits base-mountable bucket seats and reclining sport seats. Side-mounted shells need different hardware. Pricing is for one position. Before ordering, confirm whether your 306 4-door has the factory height adjuster, as the sub-frame code is different for each. Contact us with your Recaro model and we will confirm the full kit.
