Cobra rear door panel upholstery in vinyl and fabric. Part number RS-RDP-V.
Check the part number before you order
There are two rear panel listings under this material name. This one is RS-RDP-V. If you have been given a part number by us or by Cobra, match it here rather than going on the description, and if you are unsure, ask and we will confirm which one you want.
The panel nobody scuffs
Rear door panels lead an easy life compared with the fronts. In most classics the rear doors are opened occasionally, so the bottom edge never sees the shoe contact that wears out a front panel.
Which means the rears usually outlast the fronts, and it is worth checking whether yours actually need doing before you order a full set. Sometimes a pair of front panels is the whole job.
Vinyl and fabric
Fabric through the centre with vinyl around the edges. It is the combination most classics were built with, and it works because the vinyl handles the edges while the fabric keeps the centre from looking like a wipe clean surface.
On the lower price tier with the spacer fabric panel. Leather, alcantara and leather and alcantara cost more.
Rear panels cost less than the fronts, which carry the handle, winder and pocket. Made by Cobra in Berkshire.
