The liftback is the one to have
Toyota built this generation as a coupe and a liftback, and the liftback with its long sloping tail is the shape people want. In the American market it also spawned the Celica Supra, which is a separate car with its own bracket under SB324.
So if yours has a straight six rather than a four, you may have a Supra rather than a Celica. Check before you order.
Practical
These rust and there are not many left. Get the carpet up and look properly at the metal round the mounting points, and be prepared for the answer to be metalwork first.
A modern black bucket looks wrong in a car of this period. Ask us about retro trimmed shells.
