It is the Golf Mk5 bracket

We can now say that precisely. The suffix SB029-4887 is the same one on our Golf Mk5 listing. Volkswagen built the Mk3 Scirocco on the PQ35 platform with the same seat mounting, so it is the same part.

Not the Mk6 Golf, which takes SB029-4892. Worth being exact about, because the Scirocco Mk3 was sold alongside the Mk6 and people reasonably assume it shares with that.

The Scirocco R

The version people build, with the EA113 and later EA888 turbo. It is lower and wider than the Golf it is based on, which gives it the handling advantage and takes away the headroom.
