A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Pontiac Firebird and Trans Am, 1982 to 1992. Part number SB140.

We also list this under the Trans Am name as SB140-4964, because that is what a great many owners call their car and search for. Same bracket.

The Firebird takes its own part here, and the Camaro does not share it

Worth noting. For this generation the Camaro takes SB058, a separate number, despite the two cars being built alongside each other on the F-body. From 1993 they do share under SB059.

So order on the badge as well as the year for these years.

Why they get built

Cheap, rear wheel drive, and they take an LS engine without much argument. The GTA and the Formula are the versions with a following, and the 1989 Turbo Trans Am with the Buick turbo six is the rare one.

Practical

Third generation F-bodies rust and few were cherished. Get the carpet up and look before you spend.
