A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Lexus IS300. Part number SB012.

The first generation IS, which in Japan is the Toyota Altezza. If you have an imported Altezza, send us the chassis number and we will confirm the fitment, because the Japanese cars were specified differently and some came with the four cylinder rather than the straight six.

Why these get built

Rear wheel drive with a 2JZ-GE, which shares a family with the Supra engine and takes work accordingly. That combination has kept the IS300 in drift and track use for twenty years, long after the badge stopped meaning anything to most people.

The seating position is the problem it solves

An IS300 sits you higher than the car deserves and the standard seat is a comfortable saloon seat with no lateral support worth the name. Getting down and getting held is the change you feel first, and it matters more once you are sideways and steering with your feet as much as your hands.

Not the same as the IS350

The IS350 manual bracket is a different part for a different generation. Check which car you have before ordering.

We bring a batch over roughly every 3 to 5 weeks. Everything in each batch is pre-sold against a customer order, so the sooner your order is in, the sooner it ships.
