A PCI Racing sliding sub frame for the Toyota MR2 W20, 1990 to 1999. Part number SM-W20-S1.
W20 is the second generation mid engined MR2. The W30 that followed is a different car and uses a different mount, so order on the chassis code.
The slider, and whether you want it
This is the slider version, so the seat moves fore and aft after fitting. In a W20 that is worth less than it would be in a saloon: there is a bulkhead close behind you and very little rearward travel available in the first place.
If you are the only driver, the W20 adjustable mount sits lower and costs less, and in a car with a low roofline that height is usually worth more than the travel.
PCI’s S1 slider bolts to the base with four bolts where a conventional slider uses two, which they rate as twice as strong as two bolt mounting.
Construction
Laser cut and CNC formed from a single piece of 1/8 inch carbon steel, gloss black powder coat, grade 10.9 8mm hardware, five and six point sub belt mounting locations built in.
Ordering
Side mount, for a competition bucket, on the factory seat mounting points. Handed, order twice for a pair.
Tell us the seat and your height, because in a car this size the shell decides as much as the mount.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?

Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
This is a side-mount frame: the seat hangs between side brackets bolted through its flanks, the motorsport-style stack that gives fine height and angle control. Our guide on base mount versus side mount explains the whole fitting stack.
