Keep the originals
On any 911 the standard seats are worth money. This mount bolts to the factory seat mounting points, so they come out whole, go into storage and go back in when the car is sold. Fabricating brackets and drilling the floor is permanent, and on this car it is a real cost at sale time.
The slider
The seat moves fore and aft after installation. PCI’s S1 slider bolts to the base with four bolts where a conventional slider uses two, which they rate as twice as strong as two bolt mounting.
Construction
Laser cut and CNC formed from a single piece of 1/8 inch carbon steel, gloss black powder coat, grade 10.9 8mm hardware, with five and six point sub belt mounting locations built in.

Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
