A 350Z already sits you reasonably low, so the reason people change the seat is usually support rather than height. The factory seat lets you move about while the car carries a lot of speed through a corner, which is tiring on a track day and worse once a harness is fitted.
The slider
The seat moves fore and aft after installation, which suits a car that is still used on the road. PCI’s S1 slider bolts to the base with four bolts where a conventional slider uses two, which they rate as twice as strong as two bolt mounting.
Construction
Laser cut and CNC formed from a single piece of 1/8 inch carbon steel, with the bends placed to add stiffness where thicker metal would otherwise be needed. Gloss black powder coat, grade 10.9 8mm hardware, and five and six point sub belt mounting locations built into the mount.
Ordering
Side mount, for a competition bucket. It bolts to the factory seat mounting points, so nothing is drilled and the standard seats come out whole and can go back in.
Handed, so choose driver or passenger side and order twice for a pair.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?

Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
