A PCI Racing sliding sub frame for the BMW E92 3-Series, 2007 onward. Part number SM-E92-S1.
The E92 mount is the basis for several others in the PCI range, including the M2 and F22 parts, which is what you would expect from cars sharing a floor arrangement. If you have seen this working in a related BMW, it is the same idea.
The slider
This is the slider version, so the seat moves fore and aft after fitting. PCI’s S1 slider bolts to the base with four bolts rather than the two a conventional slider uses, which they describe as twice as strong as two bolt mounting. With a harness loading the seat that is the right side to be on.
Construction
Laser cut and CNC formed from a single piece of 1/8 inch carbon steel, with the bends placed to add stiffness rather than using thicker metal everywhere. Gloss black powder coat, grade 10.9 8mm hardware, and five and six point sub belt mounting locations built into the mount, which saves fabricating a crotch strap anchor.
Fitment and ordering
Side mount, for a competition bucket. It bolts to the factory seat mounting points, so nothing is drilled and the original seats come out whole and can go back in.
Handed, so choose driver or passenger side and order twice for a pair, or take the pair listing.

This frame is made for the BMW E92. Chassis code and years matter more than the badge, as floor pans change between generations, so if your car sits near a changeover year, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on PCI frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
