An OMP direct fit subframe for the Peugeot 106. Part number HC781.
Worth knowing: the base part number is shared with our Citroen Saxo frame, and that is correct rather than an error. The 106 and the Saxo are the same car under two badges, built on the same PSA floorpan.
The GTi and the Rallye
Those are the versions being built, and the Rallye in particular is a proper little competition car. They are light, cheap and still competitive in club events.
Weight is most of the point
A 106 weighs very little, and a heavy steel framed shell gives back a genuinely noticeable slice of it. If you are building one seriously, ask us about the lighter GRP and composite options.
Check the floor first
These are twenty five to thirty years old and were built to a price. Lift the carpet and look at the metal round the mounting points before you spend, because a subframe can only feed seat load into sound structure.
What else you need
Side mounts and the seat. OMP frames carry two bolt patterns rather than one. 345mm by 271mm is the spacing Sparco, OMP and Corbeau base mount seats all use, and 405mm by 290mm is Recaro, so an OMP frame takes a Recaro where a Sparco frame will not. Cobra work to their own 291mm by 330mm spacing, so a Cobra seat needs multi hole side mounts. Order twice for a pair.
