Evo 4 values have moved a long way, and if yours still has its factory Recaros they are part of what the car is worth. A direct fit frame is reversible: the originals come out whole and go back in when the car changes hands. Store them and their fixings somewhere dry.
There is a further reason an OMP frame suits an Evo. It carries the wider 405mm by 290mm Recaro pattern as well as the 345mm by 271mm spacing used by Sparco, OMP and Corbeau seats, so if you want to stay with a Recaro shell the frame will take it. A Sparco frame will not.

Will this fit my car?
This frame is made for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 4. Chassis code and years matter more than the badge, as floor pans change between generations, so if your car sits near a changeover year, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.
Which seats does it take?
It takes seats drilled 345mm x 271mm (the Sparco and OMP seat pattern) and 405mm x 290mm (the Recaro seat pattern). If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.
Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?

Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
