The Volkswagen Golf MK5 ran from 2003 to 2009 and gave the GTI name its modern reputation. The 2.0T FSI in the GTI produced 200bhp from a platform that handled much better than the Mk4, and the R32 added 3.2-litre V6 four-wheel drive for drivers who wanted more. Both variants became popular track day cars, and the Mk5 Golf has a strong presence in club time attack and sprint events.

The frame replaces the factory runners and bolts to the OEM floor mounting points, no drilling required. Steel, black powder coat, 290mm side mount holes. Will this fit my car?
This frame is made for the VW Golf 5. Chassis code and years matter more than the badge, as floor pans change between generations, so if your car sits near a changeover year, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?

Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?

Can I fit a Recaro road seat such as the Sportster CS or Speed to these M2 rails?
No. M2 Motorsport rails are made for side mounted seats, such as the Recaro Pole Position. Recaro road seats like the Sportster CS and Speed are not compatible and we do not recommend them on these rails.
