The M2 Motorsport GTR XL is the large-fit version of M2’s composite Alcantara bucket seat. The standard GTR is a medium seat targeting a 34-inch waistline; the XL extends the dimensions throughout the shell for drivers who need more room in the hip and shoulder area.

Part number M2-RSGTRXL-B1B1. The shell is fibre composite, trimmed in full Alcantara. Side mount holes at the standard 290mm spacing, six-point harness slots built in. The key dimensions from M2: rear squab width 41cm between the knees (uncompressed), front squab width 45cm at the widest hip point, overall wing width 60cm, overall seat height 101cm. The XL includes a head support at the top of the backrest, which the standard GTR does not have.

The GTR XL fits M2 Motorsport’s vehicle-specific sub-frames by reversing the up brackets. This is a straightforward adjustment when fitting: the up brackets are the height-adjustment components that sit between the sub-frame and the seat, and reversing them changes the seat’s height relationship with the frame. No extra parts are needed.

Sold as a single seat. Brackets are not included. You will need the vehicle-specific M2 sub-frame for your car separately.

The standard-size GTR is at M2 Motorsport GTR Alcantara Composite Fixed Bucket Seat. The GTS uses the same composite construction but with a woven textile back rather than full Alcantara, at a lower price point. If you are unsure between the three, call us and we can go through the dimensional differences against your height and build.

M2 brackets are produced in batches

We take deliveries weekly and hold good stock of the popular models, so most M2 brackets go out for immediate dispatch.

Less common fitments depend on the part, and can run to a few weeks.
