Vinyl where it gets hit, fabric where it does not

Fabric through the centre panel with vinyl around the edges and along the bottom. On a door that split lines up almost exactly with where the damage happens.

The bottom edge takes shoe scuffs on the way in. The top edge sits under the glass and takes the sun. Both are vinyl. The centre, which nothing much touches, is fabric, and fabric there keeps the panel from looking like a wipe clean surface.

It is the specification most classics left the factory with, for the same reasons.

Front against rear

Front panels cost more than the rear equivalents because there is more work in them, and they earn it: the front doors get opened every journey while the rear ones in a two door car barely get touched.

Worth doing both together anyway. A retrimmed front panel next to an original rear one is a difference you will keep noticing.

The choice

This sits on the lower price tier with vinyl and spacer fabric. Leather, alcantara and leather and alcantara are the upper tier.

Each seat is built to the specification you choose, which is why the wait is what it is: on average around 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the trim and options.

Cobra do not allow queue jumping. Orders are produced in the order they are received, so the earlier yours is placed the earlier it is built.

Made to your specification

Because each seat is made for your order rather than picked off a shelf, a made-to-specification seat cannot be cancelled once it is in production, and our special order terms apply.
