The first-generation Punto (1993-1999) was designed by Giugiaro and came in three and five-door versions with engines from the 55 through to the GT turbocharged variant. The GT, with its 1.4 turbo producing around 133bhp in a car weighing approximately 920 kg, was competitive in production class motorsport and quick enough to trouble cars from significantly larger classes. This kit covers the Mk1 Punto built prior to 1999 only; the Mk2 that followed used a different floor plan and a separate sub-frame is needed for those cars. The Corbeau kit is designed for the original Punto floor geometry.
The kit bolts to the standard Mk1 Punto mounting holes without drilling in most applications. ±10mm bolt tolerance applies. Base-mounted bucket seats and reclining sport seats only; side-mounted FIA seats will not fit.
