The Ford Capri Mk2 (1974-1978) and Mk3 (1978-1986) are the later generations of Ford’s European coupe. The Mk2 introduced a revised body with a hatchback-style tailgate, while the Mk3 focused on refinement. The 2.8 injection with its Cologne V6 producing 160bhp and the 3.0 litre S are the most remembered performance variants, though the full range covered 1.3 through to 3.0 litres across the two generations. Both generations share the same basic floor plan, so one Corbeau sub-frame kit covers both. The Capri is a classic car, and interior upgrades including sport seats are among the most common modifications.
The frame uses the Capri Mk2/Mk3’s existing floor bolt positions. No drilling required in most applications. ±10mm tolerance standard. Corbeau base-mounted and reclining sport seats only; not for side-mounted FIA seats.
