A fitting frame is the vehicle specific base that replaces the standard seat runners. The seat mounts to the frame, either directly or on side mounts, and the frame sets your final seat height and how far back you can sit.
The runners are included
The sliding runner comes with the frame at no extra cost, so the seat still adjusts once it is in.

Headroom in a roadster
A soft top gives you less height than the same car with a hard roof, and the roof mechanism sits where your head goes. So measure with the roof up rather than down, because that is the condition that decides whether the seat works.
The other thing to check is the belt. In a two seater the standard belt anchorage is often mounted to the seat or immediately behind it, and a bucket changes how that sits on your shoulder. Ask us before ordering if the car is staying on the road.
