The Cobra Roadster SR in tartan, the narrower and more laterally supportive shell in the Roadster range. Part number Cobra Roadster SR-Tartan.

The SR is 570mm tall, 490mm wide, 460mm base, 700mm deep. Weight 6.3kg. Against the SS (540mm wide, 550mm tall) and the XL (525mm wide, 580mm tall), the SR is the narrowest of the three at 490mm outer width. The narrower profile means more bolster contact at the sides rather than the open, wide-back feel of the SS.

For cars where the driver needs more lateral location without moving to a completely different seat family, the SR is the Roadster that provides it. The low 570mm height keeps it in the same category as the rest of the Roadster range: a seat for open cars and applications where a full-height bucket is not appropriate.

Trim is tartan with vinyl, black stitching. Eight tartan patterns: Blair Ancient, Boyd Modern, Earl of St Andrews, MacFarlane Clan Ancient, MacKenzie Dress Modern, MacMillan Old Modern, Stewart Dress Modern, and Weir Ancient. Made to order, four to six weeks. Driver or passenger side at checkout. Base mount, 291mm bolt pattern. No FIA approval. All heights and waist sizes. Seat only.

Each seat is built to the specification you choose, which is why the wait is what it is: on average around 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the trim and options.

Cobra do not allow queue jumping. Orders are produced in the order they are received, so the earlier yours is placed the earlier it is built.

Made to your specification

Because each seat is made for your order rather than picked off a shelf, a made-to-specification seat cannot be cancelled once it is in production, and our special order terms apply.
